Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately process and code incoming invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and vendor terms.
- Vendor Management: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and statements.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Expense Reporting: Review and approve employee expense reports in accordance with company guidelines.
- System Maintenance: Maintain the AP software and filing systems, ensuring all digital and physical records are organized and up-to-date.
- Reporting: Assist in month-end and year-end close processes by providing accurate AP data and aging reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable or a related accounting role.
- Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software (SAP experience a plus).
- Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and Word.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy when handling financial data and documentation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
