Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Manage the accounts payable ledger using [Software Name, e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle NetSuite, SAP].
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and financial reporting.
- Maintain and update vendor master files and contact information.
- Prepare weekly and monthly aging reports for management review.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to resolve invoice issues and improve workflows.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas).
- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is a plus.
