Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with annual corporate tax filings and ensure full compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and manage general ledger accounts.
- Conduct internal audits and review financial reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide budget forecasting and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently.
