Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with accuracy
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and reconciliation processes
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for Nebraska-based clients
- Conduct audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and SEC regulations
- Develop financial models and forecasts for strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget planning and variance analysis
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public or corporate accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Strong knowledge of Nebraska tax regulations and compliance standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with remote work tools (Slack, Zoom, Asana)
- Certifications in QuickBooks Online or Intuit software a plus
