As Quantum UX Researcher, you'll architect the next generation of immersive experiences by merging quantum mechanics with human-centered design. This role sits at the intersection of neuroscience, quantum physics, and emerging tech, requiring you to decode user behaviors in multidimensional interfaces.
We're seeking a visionary who thrives at the bleeding edge of technology. You'll collaborate with quantum physicists, AI ethicists, and neuroscientists to prototype interfaces that manipulate quantum states through intuitive human gestures. Our lab operates in a state-of-the-art facility with access to IBM Quantum systems and neurofeedback labs.
Responsibilities
- Design quantum UX experiments using entanglement-based interaction models
- Develop neurometric protocols for measuring cognitive load in quantum interfaces
- Create dimensional prototypes using quantum-entangled haptic feedback systems
- Lead cross-disciplinary research sessions with quantum physicists and neuroscientists
- Document quantum interaction paradigms for patent applications
- Present findings at quantum computing conferences (IEEE Quantum, ACM SIGCHI)
Qualifications
- PhD in Human-Computer Interaction or Quantum Physics (or equivalent experience)
- Published research in quantum cognition or multidimensional UX
- Proficiency with quantum circuit simulators (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with EEG/eye-tracking in immersive environments
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ quantum interface prototypes
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence effects on user perception
- Fluency in Python with quantum libraries (Q#, PennyLane)
