Job Description
Shape the Future of Computation with Nexus Future Systems
Join our elite engineering team as a Quantum Software Engineer. We are building the operating systems for the next generation of computing, targeting commercial breakthroughs by 2026. If you are passionate about quantum algorithms, error correction, and the mathematical foundations of the future, this is your opportunity to work on the world's most advanced technology stack.
We are looking for a visionary engineer who can bridge the gap between abstract quantum mechanics and practical, scalable software solutions. You will work alongside physicists, hardware engineers, and data scientists to deliver the quantum advantage our clients need.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and cryptography problems.
- Implement error mitigation and error correction protocols to improve quantum circuit fidelity.
- Build and maintain quantum simulation environments using Python and cloud-based quantum processors.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate physical qubit constraints into software logic.
- Conduct research on emerging quantum computing architectures and libraries.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical roadmap for our 2026 commercial release.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on quantum information science.
- Extensive experience with quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ for classical pre- and post-processing.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex numbers.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum) is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.
