Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for NISQ-era hardware
- Develop error mitigation protocols for quantum circuit optimization
- Integrate quantum solutions with classical cloud infrastructure
- Create SDKs for developer quantum computing accessibility
- Lead research in quantum machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum compiler development
- Document quantum software architecture and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science/Physics or equivalent industry experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into production-ready code
