Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy quantum computing hardware/software interfaces for enterprise clients
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Optimize quantum algorithms for hybrid classical-quantum workflows
- Lead security audits for quantum-resistant encryption implementations
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum hardware integration best practices
- Research emerging quantum technologies and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Proficiency with cryogenic engineering and superconducting systems
- Strong background in machine learning and classical-quantum hybrid models
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Security clearance eligibility for government-contracted projects
