Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures compatible with existing cloud infrastructure
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum networks with sub-millisecond latency requirements
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical AI/ML frameworks
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing workflows for industrial applications
- Research and prototype novel quantum error correction methodologies
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum technology implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or high-performance computing design
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, error correction, and decoherence mitigation
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration
- Published research in quantum information science or equivalent industry impact
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant roadmap
