Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy protocols in cryogenic systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum error correction architectures
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for real-world industrial applications
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation sprints
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing or physics journals
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or trapped-ion technologies
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and information theory
- Proven ability to secure competitive research funding (NSF, DoE, etc.)
