Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for post-quantum cryptography systems
- Design and execute experiments on 100+ qubit quantum processors
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum-enhanced machine learning models
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure $5M+ in government and private sector research grants
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum computing curriculum innovation
- Develop patents for proprietary quantum error correction methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research funding
