Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum error correction protocols on proprietary hardware
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-develop quantum software-hardware interfaces
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and industry whitepapers
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum SDKs
- Develop scalable quantum software solutions for enterprise clients
- Secure funding through NSF and DARPA grant proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum algorithm development or error correction
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
