Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Design and validate quantum circuit architectures
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals
- Secure federal grants and industry partnerships
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum SDKs
- Published work in Nature/Science/Physical Review
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing
- Experience with superconducting or photonic qubits
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- US citizenship required for government contracts
