Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum hardware-software co-design
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Secure $500K+ in annual research grants from NSF/DARPA
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Present findings at major conferences like IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Publication record in Nature/Science journals preferred
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with low-level system programming
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion qubits
