Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into classical systems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware performance metrics
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at industry conferences
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on quantum programming experience with Qiskit or Cirq
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance techniques
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
