Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes at cryogenic temperatures
- Develop error mitigation protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into practical quantum solutions
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Secure and manage quantum computing research grants from government and private sector
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics and computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum hardware (superconducting qubits, trapped ions)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
