Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization challenges
- Lead cross-functional prototyping teams to validate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature/Science journals
- Develop error-correction protocols for 1,000+ qubit processors
- Secure $2M+ in annual R&D funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum machine learning
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Davos Tech Summit
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum annealing or superconducting qubits
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDK frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Track record of translating theory to industry applications
- Clearance for DoD quantum research initiatives
- Fluency in Python and C++ for quantum-classical integration
