Responsibilities

- Collaborate with hardware engineers to prototype quantum processors at cryogenic temperatures
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum education initiatives
- Secure $5M+ in federal and private quantum research grants annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years research experience
- Published work in Nature/Science journals or equivalent quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of translating theoretical models to practical implementations
- Experience with superconducting qubit or ion trap quantum systems
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills with parallel computing knowledge
