Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead cross-functional research teams in quantum error correction breakthroughs
- Develop patentable quantum hardware architectures for commercial deployment
- Collaborate with government agencies on national quantum security initiatives
- Publish findings in Nature Physics and premier IEEE journals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (post-doc preferred)
- 5+ years hands-on experience with quantum annealing or gate-based systems
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Demonstrated expertise in quantum error mitigation techniques
- Clearance-level security background (or ability to obtain)
- Portfolio of at least 3 quantum algorithm implementations
