Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization problems
- Design and validate quantum error correction protocols using IBM Q and Rigetti systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum-classical hybrid solutions
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Advise on quantum security standards for Fortune 500 clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (post-doc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Qiskit or Cirq frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and low-level quantum circuit design
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubits
- Strong background in algebraic topology for quantum topology
- Security clearance eligibility or willingness to obtain
