Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and pharmaceuticals
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols for scalable fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional prototyping sessions with hardware engineers to bridge theoretical concepts with physical implementations
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present findings at international conferences
- Develop proprietary simulation frameworks to benchmark quantum advantage over classical systems
- Secure research partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and experimental methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years post-graduate research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, quantum algorithms, and quantum error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation tools
- Published record in quantum computing or adjacent fields with 5+ peer-reviewed papers
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware limitations and system-level optimization
- Strong mathematical foundations in linear algebra, probability, and complexity theory
