Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop error correction protocols to enhance quantum coherence and computational fidelity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Proven track record of developing novel quantum algorithms with real-world applications
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to diverse audiences
