Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Develop error mitigation techniques for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum applications
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE conferences
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum machine learning frameworks
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing architectures
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological computing
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Track record of securing government or corporate research grants
