Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for error correction and optimization
- Lead prototyping of superconducting qubit systems at cryogenic temperatures
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world applications
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Collaborate with defense and aerospace partners for secure quantum communication
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with superconducting qubit manipulation
- Publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and simulation tools (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Proficiency in low-temperature experimental setups
