Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes at cryogenic temperatures
- Develop error-correction frameworks to advance fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate theoretical models into scalable implementations
- Publish high-impact research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum information science
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and assembly-level quantum languages
- Experience with low-level quantum hardware control systems
- Ability to secure government research funding through grant proposals
