Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and pharmaceuticals
- Develop error-mitigation techniques to enhance quantum processor stability and coherence times
- Lead hybrid quantum-classical computing projects bridging current and future tech ecosystems
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at global quantum summits
- Mentor junior researchers and collaborate with academic partners on quantum education initiatives
- Secure and manage research grants from DARPA, NSF, and private quantum consortiums
- Translate theoretical quantum advantage into measurable business impact for enterprise clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record publishing in Nature/Science journals or top-tier quantum conferences
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction, fault tolerance, and topological quantum computing
- Experience with superconducting qubits, ion traps, or photonic quantum systems
