Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error-corrected qubit systems
- Lead research publications in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure government grants and corporate partnerships
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD candidates
- Develop patentable quantum computing methodologies
- Present findings at international conferences (QIP, IEEE Quantum)
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Publication record in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, AWS Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding
