Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop error correction techniques to enhance quantum system stability and scalability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuits for specific architectures
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Publish breakthrough findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure and manage research funding through grants and industry partnerships
- Mentor junior researchers and foster cross-functional innovation across departments
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Demonstrated track record of high-impact publications in top-tier journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (e.g., IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical experimental implementations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
