Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to advance fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum-classical hybrid architectures
- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature/Science journals and top-tier conferences
- Drive commercial applications of quantum machine learning in finance and logistics
- Mentor PhD candidates and secure $5M+ in government/industry grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- Expertise in quantum gate operations and circuit optimization frameworks
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming languages
- Published record in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum processors
- Fluency in Python/C++ and parallel computing paradigms
