Responsibilities
- Design and develop quantum algorithms for complex computational problems
- Conduct research in quantum information theory and quantum error correction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing systems
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in quantum computing and contribute to the scientific community through publications and conferences
- Develop and maintain quantum simulation tools for testing and validation
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the growth of our quantum research program
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- Strong background in quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and probability theory
- Experience with quantum programming languages such as Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq
- Proven track record of publishing research in peer-reviewed journals or conferences
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms and their limitations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
