Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead experimental validation of quantum error correction protocols
- Develop scalable quantum hardware interfaces using Qiskit and Cirq
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to quantum-proof existing infrastructure
- Publish research in Nature Physics/Quantum and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure $2M+ in government/industry grants for quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design and simulation
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum frameworks (Qiskit, PennyLane)
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence principles
- Experience with low-temperature quantum hardware systems
- Strong track record of translating theoretical models to practical implementations
