Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype and validate quantum processors
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Author peer-reviewed publications and secure NSF/DARPA grants
- Mentor junior researchers and build university partnerships
- Contribute to open-source quantum frameworks like Qiskit and Cirq
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Engineering with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and quantum information theory
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Quil)
- Track record of publications in top-tier journals/conferences
