Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental research on quantum hardware systems including qubit coherence and error correction
- Develop novel quantum programming frameworks compatible with 2026-era quantum processors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into classical computing ecosystems
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present findings at global tech conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives across the organization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed quantum computing research
- Deep expertise in quantum error correction protocols and fault-tolerant architectures
- Mastery of linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics principles
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum hardware systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical applications
