Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for error correction and optimization
- Lead experimental validation of quantum circuits on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for 2026-era AI
- Collaborate with hardware teams to mitigate qubit decoherence in real-world systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications and secure NIH/NSF grants for quantum research
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and computational complexity
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or algorithm development
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and linear algebra
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Q Experience, Rigetti Forest)
