Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for practical 2026 use cases in finance and logistics
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors with 100+ qubit capabilities
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present at premier conferences
- Secure research funding through federal grants and industry partnerships
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum computing education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction methodologies
