Responsibilities

- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop quantum processors with 1000+ qubit capabilities
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and present at major conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation projects
- Secure competitive research funding through NSF and DARPA grants
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with future quantum networks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Proven ability to secure external research funding
