Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum processors with classical neural networks
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, Quantum) and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $2M+ in DARPA/NSF grants for quantum research initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory through our academic partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years of industry research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming toolkits
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Hands-on experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Clearance eligibility for DoD quantum security projects
- Track record of securing government or corporate research funding
