Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction techniques to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Collaborate with government and industry partners on quantum security initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation in quantum machine learning
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency with quantum simulation tools and hardware testing frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research grants
- Experience mentoring postdoctoral researchers or PhD candidates
