Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms targeting 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols on 100+ qubit systems
- Develop error correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum-classical hybrid models
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $2M+ in government and industry grants for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum circuit design and simulation
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Q#, Qiskit, or quantum assembly languages
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Track record of securing competitive research grants
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems preferred
