Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement quantum solutions in production environments
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at IEEE Quantum Week
- Optimize qubit coherence times and error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams on quantum processor architecture improvements
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or PyQuil)
- Published research in quantum information theory or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency with machine learning frameworks for quantum data analysis
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or superconducting qubits
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics fundamentals
