Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional research teams in quantum error correction optimization
- Develop novel quantum machine learning frameworks for 2026-era AI systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to overcome quantum decoherence challenges
- Publish breakthrough research in leading quantum computing journals
- Secure and manage $5M+ in federal and private research grants
- Mentor next-generation quantum engineers through our Quantum Accelerator Program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum information theory or quantum machine learning
- Expertise in quantum error correction techniques and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and statistical mechanics
- Experience with superconducting qubit or trapped-ion systems
