Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using photonic and superconducting systems
- Develop error-correction protocols enabling fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science and deliver keynote presentations
- Secure $1M+ in DARPA/NSF grants for quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum simulation frameworks
