Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems

- Develop error mitigation strategies for practical quantum computing applications
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent filings
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum architectures
- Secure federal and private research funding through compelling proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published work in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant systems
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning principles
- Experience with superconducting qubit or ion trap systems
- Strong track record of securing research grants
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
