Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical applications in optimization, simulation, and machine learning
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes using superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop error mitigation strategies to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical research into deployable solutions
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development for quantum technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and high-performance simulation tools
- Published work in quantum error correction or algorithm development
- Hands-on experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Strong mathematical foundation in linear algebra, probability, and complex analysis
