Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation on 50+ qubit quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to mitigate decoherence challenges
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor junior researchers through our Quantum Fellowship Program
- Secure $5M+ in DoE/NIST research grants
- Architect error-corrected quantum computing frameworks
- Present breakthroughs at IEEE Quantum Week and Q2B conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface/colour codes)
- Familiarity with NISQ-era hardware constraints
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM, AWS, Azure)
