Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography, optimization, and machine learning
- Develop error-correction protocols and fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum processors with classical computing systems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum supremacy and hybrid quantum-classical workflows
- Publish findings in top-tier scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in quantum computing research or development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation tools
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and computational complexity
- Track record of peer-reviewed publications or industry contributions
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration preferred
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
