Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for enterprise-scale applications
- Publish breakthrough findings in Nature/Science journals and secure patents
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science through our academic partnership
- Architect quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols for 2026-era threats
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design next-gen quantum processors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years research experience
- Published work in quantum computing algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum annealing, superconducting qubits, and topological computing
- Track record of securing government/industry grants ($500K+ preferred)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Experience with machine learning integration for quantum systems
