Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications

- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate quantum solutions into real-world applications
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grants
- Mentor junior researchers and drive quantum literacy initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum programming languages (Q#, Cirq)
- Proven track record of high-impact quantum algorithm development
- Familiarity with quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ions)
- Strong publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent venues
