Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop novel quantum hardware architectures to reduce decoherence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum circuits at 50+ qubit scale
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford on quantum-ML hybrid models
- Publish findings in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Secure $1M+ in government/private research grants
- Mentor PhD interns in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Qiskit or Cirq frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion qubits
- Track record of securing research funding
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction techniques
