Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems

- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from government and private partners
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Published work in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and QIS toolkits (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in superconducting systems or photonic quantum processors
- Proven track record of securing research funding
- Experience mentoring graduate-level researchers
- Knowledge of NISQ-era limitations and error mitigation strategies
